About Us:

Your B&B host is Delora Jones, a cookery writer and home cook.  Originally from the US, Delora has lived in Burton since the early 1990s, acquiring an understanding of British English and British history/culture in the process.  
She is happy to prepare bespoke breakfasts — for health reasons (e.g., for coeliacs) or simply for someone missing foods from home (e.g., injera pancakes [Ethiopia]; mohinga [catfish soup, a Burmese breakfast dish]), but would require sufficient notice to ensure ingredients are in stock.
Her cat, The Wallace, lives in the B&B but is barred from the guest room and guest lounge (unless the guest is a cat-lover who desires his company in the lounge).

Delora's husband, Roger Owen, is originally from Blackburn, Lancs. and lives next door with his cat, Sukey.  Roger is a keen cyclist so if you've come with your bicycle and require anything cycle-related, Roger will be happy to help.  (Sheffield Cycles in town are excellent for reasonably-priced repairs and spare parts.)
