Diana Smith
creates excellent,
toothsome country breads, made using the Richard Bertinet kneading method.
She also produces a wide range of lovely, tasty preserves (under
the label 'Jam Today'). Diana sells her breads and jams at three
Midlands markets (see below). When Dee can make it to the
appropriate market, then you'll find Diana's lovely breads and jams at
Glencoe House.
When Dee can't make it to the
appropriate market (which is often the case), then she heads to Derby,
where she buys sour dough breads made by the bakers at The Loaf in
Crich (in the Peak District), and sold through Milk & Honey cafe on
Sadler Gate in Derby. Breads from The Loaf are delivered to Milk
& Honey on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (their breads are also
delivered to Soundbites in Derby).
You'll find Diana Smith's breads and
preserves at the following markets in the Midlands, on these Saturdays
of the month:
1st Saturday: Stone Market
2nd Saturday: Stafford Market
3rd Saturday: Penkridge Market
